Challenge 11: Blood

Whoo tostrangevisitor7 for posting the story A Movable Feast for Challenge 10.

I was thinking a bit morbid when I thought up challenge 11 but here we go...

Challenge 11: Blood

Perhaps one of our boys is bleeding.

Perhaps one of them finds some mysterious blood.

Or perhaps you are writing about blood as in bloodline as the bond or a biological link.

Extra Kudos

Okay this kudos is really random but since I told eightiswild I "chickened" out in picking out a kudos. It is now chickens. Run with that the way you want. It will be almost be a double prompt.

A Movable Feast

Challenge 10: SPRING

Hey, all! Sorry I'm late with this, but technically it's still Sunday on my side of the country...

Great work to everyone who posted a response to Challenge 9:

Heroes: eightiswild - "Half..." (extra kudos to her!)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: greenleofiend - "The Art of Shadows"
The Magnificent Seven: moogsthewriter - "Shadows"

Again, great work to everyone!

This week's challenge: Well, since the first day of spring was a couple days ago... let's make it SPRING!

Perhaps the brothers are wishing the snow would melt so spring would come; perhaps they're just enjoying a nice spring day; maybe one of them has caught the spring fever of love and another brother is offering advice (good and/or bad)... have fun with it!

Extra kudos: Using the word "equinox" in the story.

Good luck!

Challenge 9!

Challenge 8 was terrific! Thank you everyone who contributed! The drabbles were fantastic!

challenge 8's drabblesCollapse )

In honor of a super special guest prompter Lexi, galindaxxxx  we are doing a DOUBLE prompt.

Prompt 9: Shadows

What lies in the shadows of the brothers' minds? Maybe someone is hiding in the shadows out to get them, or maybe it's the other brother hiding there...just to watch. Go nuts!

Kuddos: Reference, include or look into the meaning of Tennyson's words "half-sick of shadows" take it whatever way you like.

This is the harder one, but have fun with it!
Prompt 9.2: "A thing is not necessarily true because a man dies for it."

Maybe the character reads Oscar Wilde and finds meaning in the quote. Maybe the brothers witness a senseless death. Maybe a time in their past comes back.  This is a hard prompt so there is no extra kuddos for it. But I have faith in you writers! I know you have it in you.

This weekend is the first bi-monthly fic awards! --applause-- Look out for more on that this Wednesday!
